Thumbelina
After the sell out season of Velveteen Rabbit in 2019, Albury Wodonga Theatre Company is presenting the family favourite Thumbelina in the intimate space of the Olive St Theatre in South Albury. Thumbelina is a beautiful, tiny girl – no bigger than a human thumb – who is born inside a flower and adopted by the kindly Annabel. One day, Mrs Toad spies Thumbelina asleep in a flower and kidnaps her with the intention of marrying her off to her son Grundle. And so begins an exciting series of adventures including escaping with the Fairy Prince, falling into the clutches of a mad-cap insect gang, getting lost in the freezing snow and nearly marrying a scheming mole! Will Thumbelina ever be reunited with Annabel and her beloved Fairy Prince?
