Moodemere Quartet
Be transported to the elegant and enlightened world of Europe and America in the early 20th century with the Moodemere Quartet. Allow yourself to be drawn into Ravel’s shimmering world of complex harmonies and floating melodies in his only String Quartet. Continue your voyage across the Atlantic to the open skies, prairies and promise of the New World with Dvorak’s famous American Quartet.
The Moodemere Quartet is made up of local musicians Damien Jones (violin), Tara Chambers (violin), Jessie Swan (viola) and Catriona Byles (cello). Named after the stunning Lake Moodemere in Rutherglen, their goal is to bring the beauty of chamber music to Albury/Wodonga and its surrounds.
